Normandy is blessed with 600km of coastline, sun-kissed seascapes, lakes, rivers and waterways, making it one of the best regions in France to spend time in and on the water. Our region’s an aquatic playground that seems purpose-built for watersports lovers!

Our three coastal départements of Manche, Calvados and Seine-Maritime boast world-class facilities and fantastic teams of experienced instructors in 80 sailing schools accredited by the Fédération Française de Voile [French Sailing Federation]. On top of this, we’re lucky to have consistent winds and great conditions for sailing all year round whether it’s a catamaran, optimist, dinghy, sailing boat or regatta you fancy!

Inland, the Suisse Normande, Seine Valley and Regional Natural Parks are the perfect places to try your hand at all manner of water-based activities.

Whether you’re an open-water adrenaline junkie or a beginner who wants to learn windsurfing, surfing, kite-surfing, sand yachting, canoeing, kayaking, wake boarding or stand-up-paddle boarding, you’re in for a unique and unforgettable Normandy experience!
