Accessible at all states of the tide, depending on boat’s draught, this small port in Cherbourg Harbour is a public utility. 115 moorings.
Its management is entrusted to the Defense committee of the users and local residents of the port of flamands. The port was built in the 1850's in order to build the fortifications of the harbour and to preserve the former wooden structure beforehand immersed in the pond of Tourlaville.
