The little fishing harbour of Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue has a jolly evening crafts market. Saint-Vaast (pronounced ‘vah’) was recently voted ‘France’s Favourite Village’ by viewers of the French TV channel, France 2.

The evening market takes place under the new market hall of Merville-Franceville-Plage. During the day, visit the Merville Battery and its museum.
