La Vaucelles restaurant in Pont l’Evêque owes its fine reputation to its former owners, Florence and Denis. At La Bouche à Oreille, their son Jérémy lends a helping hand, his own experience offering a modern touch.
On the menu, this family team propose hearty and flavoursome dishes, in fine French tradition and with a passion for beautiful presentation. From coast to country, with produce sourced in Normandy, a few examples include pan-fried gamba prawns with cognac cream and truffle chips, duck foie gras flavoured with pommeau, veal sweetbread with morello mushrooms, braised knuckle of lamb, Normandy oysters, whole roast lobster with lobster sauce… not forgetting our regional fish (sea bass, pollack, sole, sea bream).
The cheese board hosts a whole range of non-pasteurised Normandy cheeses.
Take our advice: leave room for dessert (warm Grand Marnier soufflée and orange ice heart, crispy profiteroles, lemon tart with lemon and basil sorbet, etc.).
