La Maison Bleue and its outstanding setting
If La Maison Bleue doesn’t exactly have a view over the wide-open sea it’s the next best thing! You’re well placed to take in the sea air as this traditional Augeron building near Courseulles-sur-Mer faces south and is situated between the sea and the Seulles river, overlooking oyster beds. You have the little lighthouse, the old windmill, the little bridge and an upturned boat to add to the beauty of the site.
Useful information
The chef is a fervent defender of homemade cuisine, with fish and seafood their specialities of course, but meat dishes are not forgotten! And in season you can eat moules marinières (in white wine) or moules normands (in cider and cream).
Nearby you have the Canadian Juno Beach Centre.
