"Il était une fois..." (Once upon a time...), conceived and directed by professional cellist Augustin D'OLIVEIRA, is an invitation to a musical journey from the 6th to the 20th century, inspired by the history of the village of St Marcouf (Manche) and its church. The audience will be plunged into different eras thanks to fictitious letters written by real or imaginary people, and thanks to music specific to each period, performed by 2 musicians from the Cassiopée Quintet ensemble.
At the end of the concert, the association "Nantus, les amis de l'église de St Marcouf" will invite participants to share a friendly drink with the musicians.
