Originating on the other side of the Atlantic, FabLabs, these unique digital manufacturing spaces, made their entry into France in the early 2000s. Whether they take the form of public digital spaces, hackerspaces or shared workshops, FabLabs come in a variety of structures, all united by a common ethic of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
