Concept Sport Emotion – À la découverte des méandres de la Touques en canoë kayak

At the departure of a small Norman village... one, two, and three turns further in the kayak we find ourselves in the middle of the nature. And here is a nice opportunity to explain the life of the mallard, while our expedition is lulled by the song of kingfishers that move at full speed along the weeping willows and the Sureaux. A few more kilometers to go before enjoying a swim in the currents of the Touques...

The Touques is a coastal river which is born on the borders of the Pays d'Ouche, the Pays d'Auge, the Perche and the countryside of Alençon, near Champ-Haut (Orne). It mainly bathes the city of Lisieux and flows into the Channel between Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer (Calvados). Its ancient name, Algia, is still present in the Pays d'Auge, the Norman country through which the Touques flows.

Concept Sport Emotion proposes you to go down the meanders of the Touques on a course of 8 km between Pont l'Evêque and Saint-Martin-aux-Chartrains.
