This outing to the forest of Cerisy (with picking) is organised by the Société Centrale d'Horticulture de Caen et du Calvados.
The outings are led by mycologists Serge KLEIN, assisted by beginner mycologists Annick BOTTET and André Provot. The outings provide an opportunity for members of the public to learn how to identify some of the mushrooms and recognise the edible and poisonous species most commonly found in the region.
Bring a basket with paper bags to avoid mixing toxic mushrooms with edible ones, a knife and boots.
