The association Les Normandiques is organizing the 9th edition of La Normandique, a major Nordic walking event on the Côte Fleurie, entirely on the beaches of Deauville, Tourgéville, Bénerville-sur-Mer, Blonville-sur-Mer and Villers-sur-Mer.
Two Nordic walks are on offer: a 12 km timed "sport" walk with individual ranking, and a 6 km "nature-health-pleasure" walk, with no timer or ranking.
A wellness and health village, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., also features reflexology, yoga, sophrology and massage stands, as well as initiations and presentations of Nordic walking equipment?
On the program:
7:30am-8:30am: Last bib pick-up for the "sport" walk.
8.40 am: Warm-up for all participants.
9:00 am: Start of the 12 km Nordic "sport" walk, timed and graded.
9:15 am: Start of the 6 km "nature-health-pleasure" Nordic walk, with no time or ranking.
10:30am-11:30am: Well-Being Village refreshment stand.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Foot reflexology, yoga, sophrology, health and well-being stands and massages in the Well-Being Village.
12:00 pm: Podium and prize-giving ceremony.
12:30 pm: Festive aperitif in the Well-Being Village.
2pm: Nordic walking introductions.
