Cycling in Normandy is one of the most enjoyable ways to explore the region at your own pace. If you dream of a cycling challenge, the Veloscenic cycle route is ideal for those looking for a real ‘off the beaten track’ experience.

The Veloscenic involves 442km of cycling from Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris to one of the most beautiful iconic sites in Normandy, UNESCO World Heritage site the Mont-Saint-Michel. The route covers a huge variety of landscapes, passing through four regions of northern France and eight départements in total, taking in a few of the country’s top tourist attractions.

The itinerary takes visitors from village to village to end up at the epic Mont-Saint-Michel, a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site.
