This chapel contains one of the first monumental expressions of glass slabs, an architectural technique pioneered by René Lalique.
Listed as a Historic Monument, this superb ensemble has been restored in the spirit of the original work designed by Lalique in 1930 for the Community's Centenary.
To be discovered: the translucent Christ on the Cross, three stained glass windows, an altarpiece, a tabernacle door, luminous columns and a sanctuary lamp.
Also on display: Alix Aymé?s Stations of the Cross on lacquer (1948), the 15th station designed by lacquer master Isabelle Emmerique (2014) and its marquetry support designed by Marie Collino (2015); the gisant-reliquaire of Saint Florida (wax restored in 2015 by Stéphanie Duboc).
