La Normandie en Biplan offers the chance to board a magnificent Kiebitz biplane and explore Normandy from the skies.
Depending on your interests, choose one of the themes on offer with a pilot: ‘Architecture’, with the Châteaux of Orne - 'History’ by exploring the upper section of the battleground where the battle of the Falaise-Chambois pocket took place (at the end of the Battle of Normandy in August 1944) or ‘Nature’ with a bird’s eye view of Orne Valley.
Commentary is provided during the flights in French, English or Spanish.
Duration - 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
A flight jumpsuit, jacket and leather helmet will be provided for the activity.
Maximum height: 1m85 - maximum weight: 90 kg - minimum age: 12 years old
It is preferable to fly either early or late in the day because the air is calmer and there is less turbulence.
