Discover Etang des Lys, a carp fishing pond located in Calvados, between Lisieux and Orbec. Quiet, far from the noise of the city, the Etang des Lys welcomes carp fishing enthusiasts all year round, day and night.
With a surface area of one hectare and a long, bean-shaped (or zucchini-shaped!) lake, Etang des Lys has 3 fishing stations, and can accommodate a maximum of 5 anglers on the lake. The berths are equipped and wide enough for both strike and battery fishing. Please note that all types of boats, including bait boats, are prohibited. This means you can fish in peace at your own fishing spot, without the risk of being disturbed by your neighbor. On average, around 100 carp swim in the Etang des Lys, with a maximum weight of 16 kg. White carp, koi, common carp, mirror carp, sturgeon... make up the stock. The pond can be reserved exclusively.
On site, Kevin, the pond manager, has set up the best possible fishing stations and a sanitary block (shower, WC, water) equipped to enable anglers to carry out a session lasting several days. You'll also find electricity and wifi. You can pitch your own tent or biwy, or reserve a "Trapper" berth Etang des Lys is ideal for carp fishing alone, with friends or family in Calvados. A lake that can also be rented exclusively for carp fishing.
