Visite libre du Manoir de Bellegarde

The Bellegarde manor house is close to the ancient Roman road, which may have been the site of a military post. In the 15th century, it was owned by Claude de La Vove, youngest son of Robert de La Vove, lord of Tourouvre. It remained in this family until the 18th century, when it passed to the du Tremblay family, forge masters and cousins of Pierre Tremblay, who established himself in Quebec. The "Bellegarde" hike, starting from the Autheuil church, will take you past the foot of the manor. Listed in the Inventaire supplémentaire des Monuments historiques.
