In a fair-ground atmosphere, 2 hucksters, Jonas and Eugène, will engage in exhilarating, participatory demonstrations to prove the uniqueness and indispensability of their products?
The luckiest among us will have the immense joy of entering the caravan, immersed in a household appliance store where an old vacuum cleaner, a Moulinex robot and a stainless steel iron stand side by side. Objects come to life, rebel and play tricks.
On the program: apparitions, disappearances, levitations, metamorphoses, juggling, humor and crazy DIY. A show by the Compagnie du Grand Hotel, founded by Jonas in 2003. This self-taught artist has been practicing diabolo since the 90s, then cut his teeth in Paris at the Cirque du Grand Céleste. He draws his inspiration as much from traditional circus as from new circus. He tinkers. He experiments. Today, he approaches the world of clowning, introducing comedy, magic and small machinery into his acts. He creates a whimsical, burlesque universe populated by old objects and animated toys.
