On August 19, 1942, Commando n°4 landed on the beach of Quiberville-sur-Mer and Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Mer and at the foot of the Vasterival valley to regroup at the blockhouse of Varengeville-sur-Mer to neutralize the German battery. This 8.5 km hike will follow part of their itinerary, accompanied by your guide who will tell you about the stages of this mission and its historical importance.
