Lin'croyable Week was created to promote the flax industry. It's a week of events with a program of weekly visits to discover a farm or a scutching and combing factory.
SARL VANDERMEERSCH is located at FONTENAY-LE-MARMION in the Orne and Odon valleys. Today, the main activity of the ETA (Entreprise de Travaux Agricole) is the harvesting of fibre flax, harvesting (4 double diggers), turning (2 double turners), and some winding (2 roundballers). The company has been providing services for over 60 years.
At the same time, Sébastien VANDERMEERSCH runs a 120-hectare cereal farm. He grows fibre flax, soft wheat, barley, rapeseed, protein peas and grain corn.
We look forward to welcoming you to our farm at 9 rue des Castors in Fontenay le Marmion. We'll take you through the different stages of cultivation, from sowing to harvesting, to help you understand the demands of both climate and soil. As well as its know-how. Equipment will be on hand to support our explanations

Reservations required on the Caen la mer website or at the counters of the Caen la mer Tourist Office, Suisse Normande Tourisme or Orne Odon Tourisme. No tickets may be purchased on site on the day of the visit.
