The Trévières commune is organizing several festivities to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of TREVIERES.
Description: - 10:00 am: Meeting with veterans' families
- Free access to the American encampment from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm.
- 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm: German and civilian presence until the liberation by Indian Head
- 3:45 pm: Re-enactment of the liberation of Trévières until around 4:30 pm.
- 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm: Entertainment and open-air theater, civilian life of the period
- 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm: Children's games and other entertainment
- 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm: ARCAVEM Jeep baptisms
- 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm: Museum area and exhibition in the former Post Office building. Texts, photos and testimonials from local people who lived through the D-Day landings.
- 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm: Aperitif hosted by the commune, with music from the 40s and 50s
- 8:00 pm: Meal on the square
- 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm: Concert by Hélène DOR
- 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm: Parades in period costumes, adults and children
- 10:30 pm to midnight and more: Dancing Days concert
- 10:30 pm to 12:30 am: Illumentiel animates the facades
