Les grands duos pour violon et violoncelle

Stéphane Tran Ngoc, internationally renowned violinist and concertmaster of the Danisch Chambers Players, has family ties to Villedieu-les-Poêles.
For several years now, in collaboration with the Association de Sauvegarde des 2 Churches, he has organized the Festival des 2 Churches, where he performs in small groups with his musician friends.
In 2024, Hambye Abbey has the privilege of hosting one of these exceptional concerts in partnership with the festival.
For this special occasion, Stéphane Tran Ngoc invites cellist Frédéric Audibert to join him for a program dedicated to the great duets for violin and cello of the early 20th century, including works by Ravel, Glière, Kodaly and Alvorsen.
