Inertie, a film by Nicolas Gayraud: Omonville-la-Rogue, a small port in the Cotentin region. Baptiste, 37, inaugurates his new fishing boat: Inertie. A small-scale inshore fisherman, he doubts he'll be able to continue his trade for lack of resources. Jacques, 74, a retired fisherman, lives from subsistence fishing and looks at the world from a contemplative perspective, with the sea as his horizon. I tell the daily story of these two men who doubt the future, confronted as they are by globalization.
