The first date of the priory's establishment is 1006
At the beginning of the 12th century, the priory was entrusted to the royal abbey of Saint-Denis in France. As this abbey was dependent on the royal power, its goods fell under this jurisdiction.
In the 15th century, the system of commendation was installed. The Croquet and Abot families kept the priory from 1476 to 1749
The property of the priory was sold as national property in June 1791.

The church was listed in 1903, the conventual buildings in 1980.
