Veterans-Children Day, organized by the Overlord Museum, in collaboration with the Best Defense Foundation and the MVCG association.
The Overlord Museum wants to make this an unforgettable day for our veterans.
Transmission, sharing and common memories will be the highlights.
Starting at 8 a.m., a convoy of 70 vehicles will depart from the museum, parade along Omaha beach and return to the museum. Veterans and children from Trévières will be present in the vehicles.
Many surprises will be prepared by the school children, including songs and drawings.
The public will be able to meet the veterans from 2 to 3.30pm at the Overlord Museum.
