Sylvain Riéjou signs a new choreographic piece on the link between dance and love encounters.
Dance generates sensuality between bodies: the choreographer made this observation during his adolescence, fascinated by love films. He was captivated by the relationship to dance portrayed in La Boom, Dirty Dancing and Titanic.
Today, he explores his own vision of love and dance, of the meeting of bodies and the carnal symbiosis that defines them, while breaking away from the heterosexual norm of the cinema of the 1980s and 1990s.
On stage, a quartet of male and female dancers play with and subvert genres, in both gentle and explosive atmospheres, for a whimsical, code-breaking piece.
