Inauguration of a stele in honor of a Sherman tank crew from the 712th Armored Battalion destroyed during the fighting to liberate Périers. These 4 men were killed when their tank hit a mine while rescuing soldiers on the Chemin de l'Hôpital. American soldiers from the 90th US Division, veterans' families and local authorities will be on hand to pay tribute.
