Festival “Danse de tous les Sens” – Rohee | Simon Senn & Rohee Uberoi

Is it possible to encode a traditional dance?
Swiss artist Simon Senn and Indian dancer Rohee Uberoi decided to encode the movements of Bharata natyam. This proved to be in conflict with the very traditions of its teaching.
This show is the story of their meeting and of the enterprise they had to interrupt. A documentary, autofictional and theatrical investigation into the links between tradition and contemporaneity, sacred art and technology, cultural identity and universal knowledge.
