In 2017, on her return to France, Mélanie Dornier became interested in and trained in old photographic processes. In the subjects she tackles, Mélanie Dornier remains faithful to her commitment to societal causes.
Exhibition theme: A woman suddenly decides to turn her back on society, choosing to leave the urban world, its codes and its rules behind. She lightened up. Gradually crumbling, she heads into the forest. A decision between fear and desire, this woman bets on a new life. And so, the trail into the unknown begins.
