corinne and François Dumortier have a passion for models. They create dioramas, mainly of the 39-45 war. This passion led them to move from Compiègne (Oise) to Isigny-sur-Mer, close to the Omaha Beach area.
A diorama is a reconstruction of a scene, a reduced-scale tracing of a place that comes to life thanks to several models set in an identically reconstructed setting.
As with every anniversary of the D-Day landings, and for the first time at Isigny, Mr. and Mrs. Dumortier will be exhibiting their models, which illustrate the unfolding of events.
