Yann Marguet was born on September 21, 1984 in Sainte-Croix, in the canton of Vaud
mother and a radical liberal father. He completed his compulsory schooling in his native
in his native village, and pursued an interminable career as a student at the Lycée d?Yverdon, then at the
then at Lausanne University. He obtained a bachelor?s degree in law in 2007 and a master?s degree in
criminology in 2009.
After a brief linguistic stint in what will forever remain his hometown, New York, NY, he began a PhD in criminology at UNIL in September 2010. Preferring to distance himself from the academic world rather than put the finishing touches to his research, he reoriented himself towards a teaching career, which was nipped in the bud by chance, destiny and very poor organization.
What's the meaning of life? What the hell are we doing here?
We know: we're not much. You only have to look at the sky to remember that. First there's nothing, then clouds, then satellites, then big balls floating in space, spinning on themselves, then infinity... Infinity.
And here we are. Talking. We laugh. We get married. We divorce. We get upset because that p**** bus is late again. We hurt a tooth. We take bachata lessons. We exist. We are each our own center of the Universe.
Yet, as you read these lines, three hundred people are twisting their ankles, twelve thousand others are looking for their keys (seven thousand of which are already in their pockets) and three billion are asleep. As for infinity, it's still expanding.
Maybe it's time to put all this into perspective on stage, eh?

thanks to his jokes and infectious good humor.
At 34, Pilou got into stand-up comedy out of a love of the stage. After working
announcer for 9 years, he decided to embark on this artistic adventure. The particular context of Covid made him discover what stand-up was all about, prompting him to take the plunge.
He wrote and performed his first show on March 11, 2023. That was all it took for him to be stung.
Inspired by this experience, he created "Le Boujou", a monthly stand-up show on April 20, 2023
show featuring 6 local artists, with the aim of giving his city and its comedians
a stage to unite the people of Le Havre around laughter
and local comedians a stage to unite the people of Le Havre around humor.
The success was immediate, with sold-out houses for every performance in just a few hours
hours. Encouraged by this success, Pilou decided to set up an association
offering several stand-up shows not only in Le Havre, but also in the
in the Seine-Maritime department.
As artistic director, he doesn't give up his role as a comedian, however
every week, while preparing his first show. His punchy
sincerity and infectious laughter will draw you into his captivating
