New! Bimonthly 2-hour drawing classes, Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm, for ages 15 and up

Drawing classes at the Maison de l?architecture de Normandie ? le Forum offer a space of freedom and personal expression. Successively, observing, reproducing and seeing allow us to open our eyes to the décor of our daily lives, the places we pass through every day without observing their details. Taking the time to draw allows us to simplify a structure and understand its constructive principles, to observe its lines, where the light penetrates, its materiality and the details that make it unique.

In small groups, we'll sketch out the foundations of an architectural culture, developing the artistic gesture and the eye in a relaxed atmosphere. We'll learn and/or improve quick sketches to build our confidence, and, depending on the objects or elements of the landscape we're working on, we'll look at different pictorial and representational techniques.

Materials are not provided. A list of supplies will be sent to you once you have registered.
