Marching band parade from the Ruquet descent to the Monument Signal esplanade. Approx. 1,200 participants Starting at 2.30pm.

These fanfares can be found at sporting events between universities or between American soccer teams, and are very popular with the public. There are also "Marching Bands" competitions featuring hundreds of musicians. The festive American atmosphere is always spectacular.

It's also a dream and an honor for these young people to be able to march on Omaha Beach during the ceremonies marking the 80th anniversary of the DDay.

The parade will be followed by a concert on the esplanade by another group of American musicians. Around 4 p.m.

During the parade, depending on weather conditions, there may be private parachute jumps on the beach by military personnel and civilians of different nationalities.
