Our project aims to revive the epic story of our elders in the 2nd French Armored Division during the liberation of Normandy in 1944.
Follow the path of the 2nd DB over 500km from the Manche (Saint-Martin-de-Varreville) to the Orne (Ecouché), passing through Ille-et-Vilaine, Mayenne and Sarthe. This immersive journey will introduce 250 participants to the public, including 30 women ambulance drivers whose role and courage we'd like to remember, with 50 vehicles, including 25 armored vehicles and 5 tanks.
