On the last Friday of every month, the Trouville-sur-Mer ciné-club "Ciné Coup C?ur" presents a major film from the repertory, followed by a discussion.

FRIDAY AUGUST 30, 7:30pm: "Walden" by Bojena Horackova
Presented by Bojena Horackova
Born in Bulgaria, Bojena Horackova lived in Czechoslovakia before moving to Paris, where she studied at IDHEC (Fémis). She made her first feature in 1996, Mirek n?est pas parti, and took part in the Entrevues de Belfort, Rotterdam, Angers and Karlovy Vary festivals. Her second feature À l?est de moi was presented at the Entrevues festival in Belfort in 2008. She also directed several documentaries Vilnius loin d?ici (Lussas 2001), Fermeture définitive du kolkhoze (Lussas 2003), Fukushima no ato (Lussas 2017, Kyotographie International Phography, Kyoto). Walden, his third feature, is selected in 2020 at Acid-Cannes, the Locarno Film Festival, the Seville European Film Festival, the Sao Paulo International Film Festival, the Ghent Film Festival, Belgrad and Linz, and in 2021 at the La Rochelle Festival (FEMA).
