Vincent Carpentier and Benoît Labbey are academics specializing in the Battle of Normandy and archaeologists at the I.N.R.A.P. Based on eyewitness accounts and photo and audio archives, they recall the highlights of the Normandy campaign of the "First Belgian Group", which liberated the coastal communities, including Houlgate, from the mouth of the Orne to the Seine, from August 17 to 29, 1944.
