Established on a spur of Armorican sandstone overlooking the plain of Trun, the Camp de Bierre is one of the most important and spectacular archaeological sites in Western France. The scale of its proportions and its state of preservation are exceptional: the main dry stone dam measures 32 m at its base and is 7 m high.
