From Villers-sur-Mer to Houlgate (6 km / 4h), take the beach and discover the panorama of the Vaches Noires cliffs, a unique landscape on the French coast, which bears witness to an era of the Earth's history: the Jurassic. Formed by the accumulation of sediments deposited by the tropical sea that covered Normandy at that time, we can find ammonites, sea urchins, nautilus fossils, but also plesiosaurs, Ichthyosaurs? A geological discovery during an unusual journey with initiation to the collection of fossils, proposed by the Paleospace museum.
Arrival in Houlgate: to return to Villers-sur-Mer, you can take a bus (Bus Nomad, line 111) or the TER which allows you to go from station to station from Dives/Cabourg to Deauville/Trouville (not included in the price of the visit).
Please bring clothes adapted to the weather and walking shoes.
