The guide will take you on a guided tour of two villages whose intertwined histories are closely linked to the Normandy landings: Asnelles and Meuvaines. German military defenses, the Mulberry B artificial harbor, the troops who landed on these beaches, reconstruction and the imprint left by the war on today?s villages will punctuate this walk. It's also the story of the sea, the marshes and a vanished port. It's also an opportunity to discover the resulting local produce, with a tasting session at the end of the walk.
