The craft of baking has been passed down for centuries. At the mill, it's an art passed on in workshops where children are proud to make their own bread.
On the program:
- Shaping of 4 balls of dough, placed to rise in a single basket
- Information on dough ingredients: flour, water, salt, yeast
- Recreation in the orchard
- Baking the children's bread (flowers)
- Tasting of a gâche + explanation of how the wood-fired oven works
- Unbaking the loaves!
For children aged 5 to 10 - Without parents! - Duration: 2 hours
Reservations required at the Cotentin Tourist Office.
Possibility of completing the day at the mill with :
- A picnic at the mill (meal not provided)
- Poetic siesta at 2pm
- Multisensory visit at 3pm
