with anecdotes about the Occupation, the Resistance and the Liberation of Echauffour.

Touring inauguration of the reconstructed military camp by associations and individuals, with vintage and military vehicles.
Inauguration of the exhibition room, featuring different themes:
- "Resistance and Liberation of Echauffour", presenting all the information and documents collected by members of the Comité des Fêtes during their research
- les Résistants connus et méconnus des Vallées d?Auge et du Merlerault" by the Société Historique de Vimoutiers (an exhibition on display in Echauffour for two weeks), which has already been awarded the "Resistance and the Liberation of Echauffour" label
- "Marie-Thérèse Auffray, Resistance painter" by the Echauffour MTA Association
- Models of military vehicles and historical re-enactments by the Association des Maquettistes de l'Orne (AMO61). Further exhibition loans are currently being negotiated.
Last but not least, inauguration of an exhibition by residents of the EHPAD Brière-Lamperière d?Echauffour and a sound archive created by pupils of the Vallée de la Risle school.

Organization of a remembrance circuit with vintage and military vehicles: a motorized circuit welcoming the public to discover places of remembrance in the commune of Echauffour linked to the Resistance, parachuting, shelters and hiding places, bombings, sabotage?
Saturday evening, August 31
Live show on the theme of "Echauffour, in the war years, from the Occupation to the Liberation": theatrical presentation by local residents and children. Liberation dinner and ball in period costume organized by the Comité des Fêtes d?Echauffour.
Sunday morning, September 1
Official commemorations to pay tribute to the Resistance fighters, deportees and victims from Echauffour and the surrounding area: led by the municipality in the presence of civil and military authorities, patriotic associations and flag-bearers, with the inauguration of a stele and an educational panel in the paved commune, involving the whole population.
Sunday afternoon, September 1
Concert by the Résonance choir from Le Mêle sur Sarthe, featuring songs related to the period
Musical concert by the "Auld Alliance Pipe Band Normandy" (with bagpipes)
Sunday evening, September 1
Closing festivities with torchlight procession and fireworks display
