The Normandy Victory Museum is preparing a rich program for its visitors: welcoming veterans and paying their respects, vehicle demonstrations, events inside and outside the museum, lectures by Edmond Kern, a specialist in the Enigma encryption machine, Florent Plana, who has met hundreds of veterans and broadcast their testimonies, Clément Horvath, who received the Prix Histoire 2019 for his work on the study of soldiers? correspondence, and Benoît Rondeau, professor, author and historian of the Second World War.
There will also be book signings, film screenings (including Little Black Devil - From Juno to Putot. This film was produced by the Maple Leaf / Souvenir Canadien association to honor the Canadian troops involved in the liberation of Normandy and France) and festive events.
