The nature reserve of La Sangsurière and l'Adriennerie is one of the last active bog plain, with over 10 meters of peat thickness. On the site, one can find 230 different botanical species, of which fifty are protected or rare (orchids, spiranthe summer, carnivorous plants). Wildlife is also rich and diversified in the area: Montagu's harrier, lapwing but also a small dragonfly, Mercury's agrion.
