The Bishop of Bayeux, Odo of Conteville, entrusted the patronage of the church in Curcy, placed under the name of St. John the Baptist, to the Saint-Vigor-le-Grand Priory near Bayeux.
A 17th century Virgin and Child hangs above the entrance door which opens under the tower porch.
