The legendary hospitality of the Nord region combined to the charm of the Norman countryside. This is what Mike and Mariejo offer at the "Chtite Normande". Having fallen in love with the area during their holidays there, this couple from Dunkirk settled in the charming iron town of Rugles to open a rural holiday cottage that looks just like them.
The "Ch’tite Normande" is tastefully furnished and its atmosphere is ideal to relax. Some pieces of furniture have been cleverly upcycled and make this 55 sq. metre holiday accommodation original. The quaint charm of vintage objects blend well with the modern comfort and facilities. Families with young children and cooking lovers will be able to travel light.
On the ground floor: fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fryer, food processor, grill, raclette grill, bread machine, Senseo coffee machine, lemon squeezer, etc.), dining room (with board games), and a sitting room (TV, bookshelves, big sofa bed) with two separate accesses to the garden. A toilet and bathroom (with shower and sound system) complete the ground floor. Upstairs: the two attic bedrooms are accessible via a different staircase: the master bedroom with a double bed on one side, and the twin bedroom on the other side. They each have a washbasin. Wi-Fi available throughout the house. Bed linen and table cloth provided at no extra charge.
The garden is enclosed with an electric gate. There is a wide range of open air games within the 1,000 sq. metre garden: hammock, petanque ground, table tennis, badminton net, football goals, and darts.
At extra charge: a hot tub is available in spring and summer, under an arbour with curtains for more privacy.
The holiday cottage is located opposite the owners’ house, who will remain available throughout your stay to make it as pleasant as possible. They can fill up your fridge before you arrive if you ask them (extra charge). They will be happy to provide information on the things to see and do in the area.
