A surprising Norman landscape
Located on the Cotentin peninsula, this enchanting and unusual landscape is over 10,000 years old. From the mid 1970s until 2014, the Biville Dunes were occupied by the French Army, which used the land for manoeuvering practice. It is now a peaceful and quiet retreat enjoyed by surfers and tourists alike, where you can hear the wind blowing in the high grass that covers the dunes.
