Whether communal, private, small or large, ponds are an essential part of the landscape and can be found throughout the Park. Once the only point of access to water for the population, ponds have now lost this use, but they are rich reservoirs of animal and plant biodiversity.
Come and take part in a survey of ponds in the commune of Saint-Arnoult. Stroll through the commune in search of ponds, wetlands that are now disappearing. You'll learn how to determine the state of health of a pond and discover the animal and plant species that live around it. You'll also be given tips on how to manage these environments.
