The Pôle International du Cheval Longines Deauville is an equestrian centre hosting regional, national and international competitions in all equestrian disciplines (show jumping, dressage, polo, vaulting, etc.), equestrian shows and corporate events. No less than 70 competitions are hosted there every year.
The centre’s traditional activity as an Equithème riding school is organised concurrently to other events, in particular via the pony club open to the youngest members.
Courses for professional and amateur riders, training or coaching sessions are also organised there by the centre or by outside service providers. The riding school boasts 24 horses and ponies.
Group lessons are organised all year. During French A and C zone school holidays, courses complete the programme.
Individual lessons are available by appointment.
Finally, a livery service is available under the responsibility of the centre manager and team. Horses are kept in 11.5m2 boxes and benefit from showers, a solarium, veterinary care, large stables and a range of other services. Expert intervention ensures the well-being of both horses and riders: physiotherapists, osteopaths, etc.
Polo school.
Created by Evrard de Spa, in partnership with the Deauville International Polo Club, the brand new polo school is established in an exceptional environment. Polo can now be played all year long in Deauville thanks to these unique facilities at the Pôle International du Cheval and its skilled team.
Indoor polo, in the centre’s vast indoor school will accompany beach polo and lawn polo on the golf course located by the Deauville-La Touques racecourse. Indeed, from May to September, polo enthusiasts of all ages, on horse or pony, can join beginner or advanced lessons, and take part in practices and tournaments.
On the agenda during these lessons and courses, quality coaching and all the necessary advice to get your lawn polo season off to a great start.
Thanks to Evrard de Spa, a qualified DEJEPS* polo instructor, Deauville has finally opened the last school it needed.
