Normandy Ornithological Group

GONm is certified association, according to the French law dated July 1976 with regards to nature conservancy. It is also recognised as a public interest organisation since August 1991.

The GONm offers activities in three themes:
- watching and studying Normandy’s wild birds in their natural environment,
- protecting birds and their habitat,
- initiating and increasing awareness of ornithology to the largest audience possible.
To achieve these aims, the association relies on an increasing number of active members and employees, all of whom contribute towards developing our knowledge of ornithology and towards increasing the efficiency of action in favour of freedom of movement for birds within a better preserved natural environment throughout Normandy.
