‘La Jolie Brise’ is a maritime heritage association that restores old fishing boats in order to promote traditional sailing in Port-en-Bessin, in Calvados.
The association’s boats: Jolie Brise, St Jacques, Julien Germaine, all of which now sail under the Bessin cliffs.
Everything is done by the association, from the keel to the mast, supervised by professional marine carpenters.
Supervised by marine carpenters, the association’s volunteers conduct all the necessary work to restore the boats.
Traditional yacht sailing, boat trips, participation in regional nautical events and including the recent launch of the ‘Julien-Germaine’, sea fishing, etc.
