Broken heads, volcanic temperaments or silent solitudes, the lard-heads we meet in this show are what we call outcasts. And yet, Javier Aranda makes them terribly endearing, casting a gaze on them that is sometimes annoyed, sometimes moved or amused.
With a fluidity of gesture and acting, Javier Aranda moves in the blink of an eye from simple manipulator to playmate of a living, talking puppet. There's magic in this incredible way of manipulating puppets that are more alive than life, and emotion galore.
