Un été au XVIIIe siècle en Normandie – Julien de Bonvouloir : l’artisan de l’alliance franco-américaine

Committed to promoting the 18th century, the association Un Nouveau Monde presents a program of events each season, focusing on the heritage, daily life and arts of a pivotal period in French history. The 2024 edition focuses on the American War of Independence and Normandy.

All summer long, from Tuesday July 2 to Saturday September 28, a self-guided tour will retrace the treaty of friendship between France and the United States, signed on February 6, 1778, in fifteen major tableaux. It will be available every day from 2pm to 6pm in the park and château d?Amblie. An interactive, digital and educational trail with audio accompaniment, ending with a presentation of Amblie in 1944.
